Byrne-Kim, Inovative Insurance and Risk Management Solutions, for General Liability Insurance Coverage
Commercial General Liability Insurance, protects your business from common liabilities.

  • General Liability Insurance is designed to protect the business against losses even if they are negligent or liable for something the business did
or failed to do that caused damage, injury or loss to another's property or health. Liability insurance covers damages and settlements stemming
from a lawsuit, up to the policy limits.

  • Bodily Injury coverage may pay an injured person or firm for the cost of care, the loss of services and restitution for death that results from any injury
caused by you. (injury to an employee is not covered by General Liability, this coverage requires Workers Compensation)

  • Property Damage coverage would cover you In the event your business causes damage to, or causes the loss of use of someone else's property
(your leased premises for example), property damage coverage may pay for the physical damage to the property; or the loss of use of that property
    up to the stated limit.

  • Personal Injury, including Libel and Slander.

Every business should have adequate Commercial General Liability coverage. CGL insurance protects you if a customer is injured at your place of
business., or if an employee caused damaged too a premises or injured another person at a client's site.

Commercial General Liability protects businesses against these types of claims. Even if your company is negligent or liable for damage, injury or loss to
another's property, reputation or health, your business can keep its assets if it is adequately insured.  Some policies will also include Additional Insureds
automatically, when required in a written contract, agreement or permit, (example most lease agreements require that you name your landlord as an
additional insured on your policy).

Professional Liability, otherwise know as Errors and Omission (E&O), is a separate type of insurance that protects your business against loss from a
claim of alleged negligent acts, errors or omissions in the performance of your professional services.  Some carriers will offer a combined package with
General Liability and Professional Liability together, and may other combined single aggregate limits, or separate aggregate limits,
(if available it is highly
recommended that you get separate limits for each, an example would be if a General Liability claim was filed it would go against the General Liability
Aggregate and would not exhaust your Professional Liability Aggregate)
.

Some policies are also written with defense inside the limits, it is recommended that you ask your Broker to see if a policy with defense outside the limits
is available, again this way you don't exhaust your Aggregate Limits.

Note: This summary outlines in general terms the coverages afforded under some policies. Always review your policy carefully for any exclusions,
limitations, or any other terms or conditions that may specifically affect coverage. Always know what your coverage is written on also, whether it is Claims
Made Coverage or Occurrence Coverage.
