liable for something the business did or failed to do that caused damage, injury or loss to another's property or health. Liability insurance covers damages and settlements stemming from a lawsuit, up to the policy limits.
- Bodily Injury coverage may pay an injured person or firm for the cost of care, the loss of services and
restitution for death that results from any injury caused by you. (injury to an employee is not covered by General Liability, this coverage requires Workers Compensation)
- Property Damage coverage would cover you In the event your business causes damage to, or causes the
loss of use of someone else's property (your leased premises for example), property damage coverage may pay for the physical damage to the property; or the loss of use of that property up to the stated limit.
